Here is some important general information on Connie’s Place, a Pet Friendly Vacation Rental
We hope you enjoy your stay with us and we look forward to providing you with a wonderful time in our luxurious Sedona, AZ accommodations. Please read our policies carefully.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
- Total payment is due 15 days before arrival and, at that point, is non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason.
- Guests are responsible for paying for all nights reserved under a confirmed reservation.
- Changes or cancellations require a minimum of 16 days’ notice for the guest to be released from financial responsibility. This includes but is not limited to:
- Personal and family illnesses or accidents
- Failure to obtain air or ground transportation, regardless of the cause
- Weather-related cancellations
- COVID-19 concerns
- Bookings cannot be moved or refunded within 15 days of arrival for any reason—no exceptions.
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to info@elportalsedona.com. A confirmation email from El Portal is required to validate the cancellation. Phone cancellations will not be accepted.
- No refunds for no-shows, early checkouts, or unused nights.
For these reasons, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes or cancellations. Many travel agencies and insurance providers offer comprehensive trip cancellation policies.
Early Departure Policy
- If a guest abandons their room before the end of their reservation, El Portal will attempt to re-rent the room at market conditions.
- If the room is successfully re-rented, any net income from the re-rental will be credited back to the original guest’s credit card under the following conditions:
- The guest does not challenge the charge.
- The guest does not request a refund.
- The guest does not post negative comments online or on travel review websites.
- This re-rental policy is a courtesy, not a requirement.
- Market conditions will determine the resale price at the time of resale.
This approach provides our guests flexibility while ensuring our business’s sustainability.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (or as arranged)
- Checkout: 10:00 AM
- Guests arriving after 7:00 PM must call in advance to arrange a late check-in.
If your reservation details are incorrect, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
Hotel Service Fee
- A $38.00 daily hotel service fee applies per night and covers:
- High-speed internet
- An assortment of snacks and bottled water in your room
- Pool and gym access at Los Abrigados Resort
Exemptions:
- Connie’s Place and Sarah’s Place are not charged the $38.00 hotel service fee. These rooms do not include snacks or pool access.
Pet Policy
Connie’s Place is pet-friendly but not a boarding facility. We welcome well-behaved pets but require responsible pet ownership.
Pet Owners Must:
- Never leave their pets unattended in the room or on the patio.
- Could you pick up after their pets at all times?
- Ensure that their pets do not bark excessively or cause damage.
- Accept that rooms will not be cleaned if pets are left inside unless prior arrangements are made.
Damage Policy:
- Any damage caused by pets will be billed to the guest.
- If a pet disturbs other guests and cannot be controlled, the guest may be required to make alternative arrangements for their pet.
Some guests may not be pet lovers, and we ask for courtesy and consideration for all visitors.

General Information
- Connie’s Place is within walking distance of Oak Creek and over 100 upscale shops, galleries, and restaurants.
- Dress Code: Sedona is casual—shorts and t-shirts are suitable for daytime wear, and most restaurants do not require formal attire.
- Outdoor Adventures: We encourage guests to enjoy Sedona’s incredible outdoors. Consider booking a private guided hike or a driving tour to the Grand Canyon through Sedona Philosophy.
